Defence Pakistan Rally with Ayesha Lathani School Students

Pasban-e-Watan Pakistan organized a Defence Pakistan rally at Ayesha Lathani School in Rawalpindi, joined by a large number of students, teachers and civil society members to mark Defence Day and pay tribute to the nation’s armed forces. School leaders, Pasban officials and youth representatives participated in speeches, tableaux and patriotic performances that honored the sacrifices of soldiers and underscored the role of students in national development.
The rally was led by Pasban-e-Watan Pakistan central officials alongside faculty and students of Ayesha Lathani School. A sizable contingent of teachers and pupils marched and gathered with civil society participants to observe Defence Day and show support for Pakistan’s defence institutions.
School principal Noor Qureshi thanked the Pasban-e-Watan delegation for joining the school’s commemorations and delivered a vivid account of scenes from the 1965 war for those present. Her remarks emphasized the enduring legacy of that conflict and its lessons for the younger generation.
Students paid tribute through a variety of presentations, including tableaux, speeches and patriotic songs that celebrated the courage of the armed forces and remembered the country’s martyrs. The performances were designed to foster national pride and convey appreciation for the military’s sacrifices.
Pasban-e-Watan Pakistan leaders who attended included Secretary Information Rakhshanda Tasneem; President of the Public Aid Committee Tahir Mahmood; Vice President Rana Ishtiaq; President of the Climate Committee Yaseen Bhatti; Vice President Climate Munir Akram; central leader Hassan Muhammad; Youth President Bakhti Shah; General Secretary Nabi Shah; and Chairman Pakistan Sheikh Mukhtar Ahmad.
Speakers from Pasban-e-Watan paid tribute to Pakistan Army personnel and fallen soldiers and highlighted the importance of students’ participation in nation building and in safeguarding the country’s ideological foundations. They called on the youth to remain engaged in civic and educational efforts that support Pakistan’s development and security.
