Rawalpindi Security Ready to Enforce Law and Order
Rawalpindi: Chief Police Officer Syed Khalid Hamdani chaired a law and order meeting in Rawalpindi to assess current security dynamics and issue clear operational directives to officers across the district.
The meeting was attended by the SSP Operations, SSP Investigation, divisional SPs, SPs and SDPOs. During the briefing the CPO reviewed intelligence and ground reports and emphasised disciplined response and proactive measures to maintain stability.
The CPO instructed that under no circumstance should anyone take the law into their own hands. No road blockades, no actions that disrupt traffic or the ordinary life of citizens will be permitted. The message was clear that protests will not be a cover for violent activity or disruption of public order, and any such behaviour will be dealt with strictly.
Highlighting the priority of citizen safety, the CPO warned that those who attempt to disturb peace, violate laws or attack property and law enforcement will face firm consequences. Rawalpindi security operations will focus on preventing escalation and ensuring the safety of lives and property while protecting critical movement and daily routines.
The Rawalpindi Police spokesman reiterated that the force is determined and ready to respond to any situation, with instructions in place across operational and investigative units to act swiftly and within the law to preserve public order.
