Accelerating Expo Center Progress at TDAP

The 2nd meeting of the Expo Center Execution Committee (ECEC) of TDAP took place today at TDAP Headquarters under the chairmanship of Senator Bilal Ahmed Mandokhail, reviewing work completed since the committee’s inaugural session.

Deliberations concentrated on enhancing the security framework, improving operational efficiency, and identifying practical approaches to ensure the financial self-sustainability of the Expo Center. Committee members examined progress across these areas and discussed timelines for priority actions.

A detailed presentation on the current status and future roadmap was delivered by the Director Expo, outlining infrastructure, operational gaps and proposed milestones. The presentation was followed by substantive input from committee members and representatives from DEPO and Pakistan Expo Centers Lahore, who highlighted operational realities and collaboration needs.

Members emphasized coordinated follow-up with stakeholders to translate the roadmap into measurable outcomes, stressing that a secure and self-sustaining Expo Center is essential for supporting Pakistan’s trade events and attracting private sector participation. The focus remains on delivering concrete steps that improve efficiency while safeguarding assets and revenue streams for the venue’s long-term viability.
