On the directions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab Women Protection Authority visited the home of the woman murdered near Ravi Road to offer condolences and reassure the grieving family of immediate support.
The Punjab Women Protection team assured the relatives of full legal assistance and said they had instructed police to carry out a fair and transparent investigation so that justice is delivered without delay. Authorities emphasised the need for a thorough probe into the circumstances surrounding the killing.
Officials stressed that such heinous acts will not be tolerated and that the culprit will face the harshest punishment under the law. The Punjab Women Protection Authority said it will work with law enforcement to monitor progress and ensure the family receives the legal help they were promised.
