Empowering Campuses with Financial Inclusion Training

RWU Student Ambassadors participated in a Training of Trainers (TOT) session organized by the State Bank of Pakistan, BSC Rawalpindi, under the Banking on Equality – Student Ambassador Program (FY 2025–26). The session focused on promoting Financial Inclusion, digital awareness, and women’s empowerment across campuses.

Participants received practical guidance on engaging peers, safeguarding digital transactions, and designing campus outreach activities. Trainers highlighted steps students can take to increase access to formal financial services and to support women students in navigating digital banking tools.

As trained ambassadors return to their institutions, they will lead workshops, mentor fellow students, and collaborate with university units to expand awareness. This cascade model aims to strengthen local leadership and ensure Financial Inclusion efforts reach diverse student communities.

The State Bank of Pakistan’s Banking on Equality initiative reinforces national priorities to widen financial access and digital literacy, with targeted activity in Rawalpindi and surrounding regions. By equipping student leaders, the program aims for sustained impact on campus financial behaviour and inclusion.
