Boosting Balochistan Development Through Cooperation

Islamabad, 26 November 2025 — Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, met with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, at Parliament House to review the political, social and development landscape of the province.

The Speaker categorically dismissed circulating rumours about the replacement of the Chief Minister as baseless and affirmed that the coalition government in Balochistan will continue to play its full role in ensuring the province’s development and prosperity. He reiterated that Balochistan development remains central to national progress.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasised that Pakistan’s progress is directly linked to the advancement of Balochistan and described ongoing mega development projects in the province as a positive sign. He assured Chief Minister Bugti of full cooperation at all levels to support the welfare and uplift of the people of Balochistan and to accelerate Balochistan development efforts.

Both leaders agreed that resolving the issues faced by the people of Balochistan is a top priority and that strengthening coordination between the federation and the provinces will help address public concerns and improve service delivery across the region.

Chief Minister Bugti lauded the leadership and role of Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, appreciating the National Assembly’s support in facilitating legislative processes in the Balochistan Assembly and acknowledging the Speaker’s effective conduct of House proceedings.

Bugti also highlighted that the people of Balochistan, along with the security forces, are courageously standing against terrorism and underlined that Parliament serves as the strongest voice for the provinces in confronting national challenges.
