Salma Burkat Celebrates Christmas in Islamabad

Salma Burkat joined Pakistan Peoples Party workers in Islamabad to mark Christmas and the birthday of Quaid‑e‑Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, where she participated in cutting a celebratory cake alongside party activists.

At the event she extended warm Christmas greetings to the Christian community and distributed gifts to children, taking part in the seasonal celebrations and sharing in the festive spirit with families and local residents.

Salma Burkat reiterated her commitment to the ideals of Quaid‑e‑Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, saying the Quaid’s vision called for a peaceful society built on mutual respect. She emphasized that people of all faiths in Pakistan should enjoy full freedom and equal rights.

The gathering drew a large number of Pakistan Peoples Party workers, local leaders and members of the Christian community, who described the event as a welcome step toward promoting interfaith harmony and unity in Islamabad.
