Strengthening Rwanda Pakistan Trade Through Women Leadership

Amb. Harerimana Fatou, High Commissioner of Rwanda to Pakistan, participated in the 4th All Pakistan Women Chambers Presidents International Conference organised by the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Islamabad. Her presence underscored the growing diplomatic and economic dialogue between Rwanda and Pakistan and highlighted opportunities for women-led enterprise.

In her address she emphasised the transformative potential of inclusive growth and the pivotal role of women chambers in advancing entrepreneurship, trade and broader economic development. She made clear that strengthening Rwanda Pakistan trade depends on empowering women entrepreneurs and creating platforms where women-led businesses can access markets, finance and networks.

Amb. Harerimana elaborated on practical paths to deepen Rwanda Pakistan trade through inclusive economic engagement, proposing closer collaboration between business chambers, tailored trade initiatives and targeted support for women exporters. She argued that women’s participation is a catalyst for sustainable development and rapid national transformation, and called on Pakistani and Rwandan stakeholders to prioritise gender-inclusive trade policies.

She concluded by inviting women investors in the coffee sector to attend the Rwanda Coffee Festival scheduled for 29 January 2026, highlighting the event as an opportunity for direct business linkages and investment discussions. The High Commissioner encouraged women entrepreneurs across Pakistan to explore coffee sector partnerships as part of a wider strategy to boost Rwanda Pakistan trade and mutual prosperity.
