A delegation from the Aurat Foundation headed by the Team Leader of the Anti Tobacco Program, Mr. Safdar Raza, paid a visit to the office of Parliamentary Secretary for IT & Telecommunications MNA Sabheen Ghoury. The visit brought representatives from a prominent civil society organisation into direct dialogue with a federal lawmaker on public health outreach.
The delegation conveyed their wishes to MNA Sabheen Ghoury in recognition of her continued support for awareness initiatives. Delegates emphasised the importance of sustained engagement between lawmakers and organisations working on tobacco harm reduction and prevention.
Ms. Ghoury expressed her appreciation for the Aurat Foundation’s work in promoting awareness of the harmful effects of tobacco use, with particular emphasis on raising awareness among young people.
