Karachi, 12 February 2026 — Mashreq has launched a new cross-border service that lets Pakistani nationals living in the UAE open Pakistan accounts remotely through the Mashreq UAE mobile app. The service delivers an end-to-end digital account opening experience without the need for physical paperwork or branch visits, simplifying access for overseas Pakistanis.
The new offering provides a unified global dashboard inside the Mashreq UAE app so customers can view and manage their Pakistan accounts and UAE balances in one place. By integrating onboarding and account visibility, Mashreq aims to give expatriates clearer control over their cross-border finances while removing traditional friction from the process.
Once a Pakistan account is activated, transfers to Pakistan are instant and fee-free using the bank’s exclusive Quick Remit feature, available only to Mashreq account holders. Pakistani customers who open an account with Mashreq Pakistan will also receive a current account with zero minimum balance and a free domestic PayPak debit card, supporting everyday banking needs back home.
