Ayaz Sadiq felicitates finance ministry official over global publication honour
ISLAMABAD, July 24, 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has congratulated Ms Ayesha Javed, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, on being included as a contributing author in Routledge’s internationally recognised publication, Women in Public Finance: Stories of Gender in Budgeting.
In his message, the Speaker termed Ms Javed’s achievement a source of pride for Pakistan. He said her chapter, titled “Limitless Skies and Endless Dreams,” highlights her professional excellence as well as the expanding contribution of Pakistani women in public finance, policymaking and gender-responsive budgeting.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said the success of Pakistani women at international forums helps present a positive image of the country and reflects the talent, commitment and intellectual strength of Pakistan’s public servants.
He said such recognition serves as an encouragement for the younger generation, particularly women, to strive for excellence and play a meaningful role in national development.
The Speaker also reiterated his support for efforts aimed at enhancing women’s participation and leadership in public institutions. He said an inclusive and merit-based environment was vital for sustainable progress and effective governance.
