Islamabad’s Largest Modern IT Park Enters Final Construction Phase

ISLAMABAD, Aug 6, 2026: Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja on Thursday paid a detailed visit to the largest and most modern IT Park under construction in Islamabad, as the project entered its final stages.

During the visit, the federal minister inspected different floors of the IT Park and reviewed the pace and details of the ongoing construction work.

Officials concerned gave her a comprehensive briefing on the completion of the project, the speed of work and details of various sections of the facility.

Shaza Fatima Khawaja expressed satisfaction over the quality of work and issued special instructions to further improve the construction and completion process in line with high standards.

Speaking on the occasion, the federal minister said the state-of-the-art IT Park was a major gift from the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the country’s talented youth.

“This IT Park, equipped with modern facilities, is a great gift from the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the talented youth of the country. Through this project, our youth will get equal opportunities in modern technology and will not only open avenues of employment across the world but will also play a key role in improving and strengthening Pakistan’s economy,” she said.

The Islamabad IT Park is expected to prove a milestone in promoting information technology in the country, providing international-standard infrastructure and creating employment opportunities.

The important national project will be formally inaugurated very soon by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
