RIYADH: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have held joint workshops aimed at aligning Pakistan’s national IT strategy with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

The development was highlighted at the LEAP conference in Riyadh, where more than 50 Pakistani technology companies and 25 startups are participating, reflecting Pakistan’s rapidly growing technology ecosystem.

Addressing the conference, Federal Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja said no country could achieve progress by remaining alone or isolated. She said international cooperation was essential for technological advancement.

The federal minister said the LEAP conference represented 240 million Pakistanis and the country’s expanding tech ecosystem. She emphasised that sectoral barriers would have to be removed for progress in technology.
