**National Assembly Signs MoU with Allied Bank to Facilitate Employee Loans**
The National Assembly Secretariat has formalized a collaboration with Allied Bank to provide easy-term loan facilities to its employees, aiming to enhance their welfare and financial stability. The agreement was signed during a ceremony chaired by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, reflecting his commitment to employee well-being and support.
Under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Allied Bank will offer special loan options exclusively to employees of the National Assembly and Senate Secretariat. These loans can be utilized for various personal needs, including the construction, purchase, or renovation of homes, as well as for vehicle procurement. Employees can access these financial services through the Allied Bank branch located within the Parliament House, making the process more convenient and accessible.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized that this initiative is designed to help low-income employees achieve their dreams of homeownership and improve their living standards. He highlighted that the scheme is particularly beneficial for employees holding accounts with Allied Bank at the Parliament House, ensuring targeted support. The Speaker also appreciated the efforts of the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the Additional Secretary, the Advisor on Legislation, and other officials involved in supervising and implementing this project. Additionally, he extended gratitude to Allied Bank for their generous cooperation in making the scheme a reality.
The employees and officers of the Secretariat expressed great appreciation for the initiative, welcoming it as a significant step towards employee welfare. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from the National Assembly Secretariat and representatives from Allied Bank, underscoring the importance of this collaboration in fostering a supportive environment for parliamentary staff.
