Islamabad Police Crack High Profile Cases in Record Time

Islamabad police achieved a significant success by swiftly solving 15 high-profile cases, including the murder of prominent analyst Sardar Faheem. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the police force’s investigative team for their performance and professionalism and congratulated them on swiftly apprehending suspects involved in these critical cases.
Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi visited Islamabad Police headquarters to personally meet and commend officers involved in successfully concluding the complex investigations. Minister Naqvi greatly appreciated the outstanding performance, initiative, and dedication demonstrated by Islamabad police officers and investigative teams.
During the visit, Minister Naqvi personally congratulated Inspector General (IG) Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Jawad Tariq, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Muhammad Shoaib, SSP Investigations Usman Tariq Butt, SP City Suleman Zafar, SP Saddar Kazim Naqvi, ASP Ali Raza, Assistant Director Abbas Mehdi, and DSP Suleman Shah, along with Station House Officers (SHOs) and investigation team members who contributed significantly to solving these important cases.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi specifically acknowledged Islamabad Police’s professional expertise, advanced technological application, and superior surveillance practices that led to promptly solving the previously unsolvable Sardar Faheem murder case. He praised the police investigators’ adept use of modern investigative techniques and technologies which played a pivotal role in quickly tracing and apprehending perpetrators.
Highlighting this noteworthy achievement, Minister Naqvi remarked, “Well done Islamabad Police. Proud of your outstanding performance and professionalism.” He emphasized that the rapid resolution of these high-profile, complex criminal cases not only underscored Islamabad Police’s capability but also enhanced the trust of citizens in law enforcement.
Additionally, IG Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi particularly praised Constable Rana Waseem, whose exceptional professional skills significantly contributed to solving these criminal investigations. Minister Mohsin Naqvi instructed the IG to ensure that Constable Rana Waseem, who has served diligently at his current rank for 21 years, be considered for promotion in accordance with the prevailing rules and regulations.
Minister Naqvi expressed his confidence that the Islamabad Police will continue to safeguard citizens’ lives and property with the same dedication and professionalism in the future.
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Federal Interior Secretary Khurram Agha, Islamabad Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and Islamabad Deputy Commissioner were also present during the ceremony.
