Marking this transformative shift, the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) organized a special session to honor successful trainees of its Generative AI certification training program.
The session, held during the concluding ceremony of the program’s second cohort, was led by PEC Chairman, Engineer Waseem Nazir. Highlighting the importance of Generative AI, Engr. Nazir emphasized how this technology is revolutionizing various sectors, reshaping not only industries but also enabling engineers to excel and innovate.
A total of 1,180 engineers and engineering students successfully completed the second cohort of the PEC Generative AI certification program. Recognizing their efforts and achievements, the ceremony paid tribute to these talented individuals, acknowledging their hard work, dedication, and potential as future leaders in technology. The PEC asserted a clear and forward-looking message: “We make future,” underscoring their commitment toward fostering innovation and technological excellence.
Building upon the success of the previous cohorts, PEC announced the launch of the third cohort of its Generative AI certification training program, scheduled to begin in August 2025. Anticipation is already high, with engineers and students alike encouraged to participate and prepare themselves for the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
