Karachi Curriculum Policy Dialogue Visit Highlights

The Director of the National Curriculum Council (NCC), accompanied by senior officials, visited the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Karachi for a policy dialogue aimed at curriculum reform. The visit centered on exchanging views to enhance educational quality and inclusivity, marking a significant step towards aligning curriculum development with national goals and local realities.

The delegation included NCC Director Dr. Tabassum Naz, Deputy Education Advisor Mr. Hanan Kakar, and members of the NCC team. They engaged with BISE Karachi officials as part of an ongoing series of dialogues focusing on reforming Pakistan’s educational curriculum.

Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly welcomed by BISE Karachi Chairman Mr. Ghulam Hussain Sahu. In a productive meeting, participants shared valuable insights and discussed ways to strengthen the curriculum development process. Both sides emphasized their mutual commitment to ensuring that Pakistan’s education sector delivers relevant, inclusive, and high-quality learning for all students.
