**Russian Consulate in Karachi to Host Seminar for Pakistani Travel Agents amid Growing Interest in Russia**
The Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Karachi has announced plans to organize a seminar aimed at Pakistani travel agencies and agents, in response to a growing interest among Pakistani citizens in visiting Russia. The event is expected to provide industry professionals with crucial information on tourism opportunities and visa requirements for Russian travel.
According to the Consulate, the seminar will be led by the Consul General and will focus on guiding travel agents through the process of applying for tourist visas for their clients. Attendees will also be introduced to some of Russia’s top tourist destinations, with an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarifications directly from consular officials.
The Consulate has indicated that the seminar is tentatively scheduled to take place between August 18 and September 1, 2025, with further details to be provided in the near future. Travel agencies and agents interested in participating are encouraged to express their interest in advance.
This initiative comes as part of efforts to enhance bilateral tourism and streamline the Russian visa application process for Pakistani travelers, reflecting strengthening ties between the two countries.
