The two sides engaged in productive talks addressing both global and regional security challenges, with particular emphasis on strategic stability and recent developments following the Pakistan-India standoff. The dialogue provided an opportunity to discuss strategies for managing security dynamics in South Asia and maintaining peace in the region.

Key topics covered during the consultations included major international disarmament and non-proliferation frameworks, such as the United Nations (UN), Conference on Disarmament (CD), Biological Weapons Convention (BWC), and Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) overseen by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). The talks also addressed export controls, advancements in emerging technologies, and the peaceful uses of nuclear technology.

Officials from both countries agreed that this bilateral forum remains vital for deepening mutual understanding and strengthening cooperation in multilateral settings. The ongoing dialogue underscores the shared commitment of Pakistan and the UK to promoting international peace, security, and responsible approaches to arms control and non-proliferation.
