Pakistan and Denmark Celebrate Stronger Cultural Ties

**Pakistan and Denmark Reaffirm Commitment to Cultural Cooperation at Ambassador’s Farewell Event**
The Embassy of Denmark in Islamabad hosted a farewell reception in honour of outgoing Ambassador Jakob Linulf, marking a significant occasion to reinforce cultural collaboration between Pakistan and Denmark. The event brought together senior dignitaries and underscored both nations’ shared commitment to fostering bilateral ties through arts, heritage, and cultural diplomacy.
Ambassador Jakob Linulf welcomed Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, as the chief guest. During the reception, the Ambassador and Minister engaged in a substantive dialogue focused on expanding cultural exchanges, promoting tourism, and exploring new avenues for cooperation in arts and heritage sectors.
As part of the celebration, Mr. Usman Shah, CEO of Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design, also attended the event. On behalf of the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, Mr. Shah presented Ambassador Linulf with a culturally significant painting that artistically represents the rich heritage of Sindh province. This gesture symbolized the spirit of friendship and ongoing commitment to cultural exchange between Pakistan and Denmark.
The event highlighted both countries’ dedication to deepening cooperation through cultural diplomacy and creative initiatives. Participants emphasized that such activities play a pivotal role in strengthening people-to-people contacts and mutual understanding.
On the sidelines of the reception, Federal Minister Khichi also held a meeting with Italian Ambassador Marilina Armellin. Both officials discussed expanding collaboration between Pakistan and Italy in heritage and culture, reflecting Pakistan’s broader aim to enhance international partnerships in these fields.
The farewell reception concluded with renewed optimism for continuing and expanding cultural ties between Pakistan, Denmark, and other international partners.
