Social Work Collaboration for Youth Empowerment and SDGs

Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Chairman of the Department of Social Work at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, visited the head office in Multan for high-level discussions on youth engagement, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. The meeting highlighted innovative approaches to collaboration, with both parties expressing a shared commitment to advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Pakistan.
During the visit, participants explored opportunities to move beyond traditional aid models by promoting innovation, mutual growth, and the development of a robust ecosystem supporting social change. The conversations focused on leveraging academic partnerships and community initiatives to empower youth and create long-lasting impact.
Both sides voiced enthusiasm for launching joint programs that would foster academic linkages, strengthen youth empowerment, and champion impact-driven development. The meeting marks a significant step toward building collaborative frameworks that address Pakistan’s evolving social challenges through creative, sustainable solutions.
