IIUI and Rawal Institute Sign MoU for On-Panel Medical Care

**IIUI Partners with Rawal Institute to Enhance On-Panel Medical Services for Employees and Families**
The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has entered into a new partnership with Rawal Institute of Health Sciences, aimed at providing comprehensive on-panel medical services to university employees, their dependents, and parents. The collaboration is part of IIUI’s ongoing initiative to improve healthcare support for its community.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Rawal Institute will extend indoor medical services to IIUI staff on a credit basis. This agreement is expected to make quality healthcare more accessible for the university’s workforce, addressing both routine and emergency medical needs.
A formal signing ceremony was held at the university’s new campus. Commodore (Rtd.) Aziz Mumtaz, Director Operations, represented Rawal Institute, while Dr. Inam ul Haq, Director Administration, signed on behalf of IIUI. The event was also attended by Rawal Hospital’s Senior Manager Operations, Mr. Afzal Butt, and Assistant Manager Panels, Mr. Naseer. Representing IIUI were officials including Mr. Atiq Ur Rehman Chughtai, Director HRM&D, Mr. Noor Husain, In-Charge Finance, Mr. Bilal Awan, In-Charge Audit, and other university staff.
During the ceremony, representatives from Rawal Institute provided an overview of the hospital’s medical facilities and outlined their commitment to delivering high-standard healthcare services to the IIUI community. Dr. Inam ul Haq praised the collaborative efforts of the university’s Finance, Audit, Human Resources, and Administration departments in bringing the agreement to fruition. He also appreciated the leadership and guidance provided by Vice President (Administration & Finance), Prof. Dr. Abdur Raheman.
Special acknowledgment was given to Mr. Bilal Awan for his key role in the successful implementation of the new medical facility and for helping to bring leading hospitals on panel to serve IIUI employees and their families.
This latest MoU is part of IIUI’s broader strategy to partner with reputable medical institutions, ensuring employees, students, and their families receive timely and subsidized medical assistance. The university’s management reaffirmed its commitment to expanding such collaborations, with future plans to further strengthen the healthcare support network for the IIUI community.
