The Chairperson of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), Mrs. Farzhana Naek, visited the Turkish Red Crescent (TRC) office in Islamabad to strengthen humanitarian collaboration between the two organizations. During her visit, she met with Mr. Erkan Avci, the Acting Head of Delegation for TRC in Pakistan.
Mr. Avci praised Mrs. Naek’s leadership and acknowledged the ongoing support from PRCS for various TRC-funded programs operating in Pakistan. He highlighted the positive impact of this partnership on local communities. In response, Mrs. Naek expressed appreciation for the valuable role played by the Turkish Red Crescent and reaffirmed PRCS’s commitment to working together to support vulnerable communities throughout the country.
Officials from both organizations emphasized the importance of ongoing cooperation, emphasizing that joint efforts are vital to meeting humanitarian needs and uplifting those in crisis.
