IIUI Holds 102nd Selection Board Meeting for Faculty Appointments

The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) held its 102nd Selection Board meeting at the Faisal Masjid Campus, aiming to advance academic excellence and ensure transparency in faculty appointments across various departments.

The meeting was chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, and brought together distinguished external and internal members. Notable participants included Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer of the Federal Shariat Court, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Raza Bhatti representing the Higher Education Commission, Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza of Fatima Jinnah Women University, and Prof. Dr. Sadia Nadeem from FAST School of Management. Senior IIUI officials, including Vice President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed and Director QAD Prof. Dr. Rehmat Elahi, were also in attendance.

The Board conducted interviews for academic positions in a range of disciplines such as Education, Psychology, Pakistan Studies, History, Sociology, Mass Communication, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Hadith & Its Sciences. The diversity of departments highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering growth across both social sciences and technical fields.

President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed commended the contributions of all board members, emphasizing that their expertise and participation are crucial to upholding IIUI’s values of merit and transparency. He underscored the importance of selection board meetings in supporting the university’s mission to offer equitable opportunities for institutional growth and faculty development.
