Ambassador Hashmi Visits Honder College for Pakistan China Cooperation

Ambassador Khalil Hashmi recently visited Honder College of Arts and Sciences in Inner Mongolia, where he explored opportunities to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation between Pakistan and China. During his visit, Ambassador Hashmi held a productive meeting with the college’s President, Mr. Zhou Yushu, reaffirming the commitment to deepen ties ahead of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries next year.

A highlight of the visit was Ambassador Hashmi’s tour of “Masood Khan Hall,” named in honor of one of his predecessors, symbolizing the lasting bond between Pakistan and China. He expressed appreciation for this tribute to enduring friendship and collaboration.

The Ambassador also toured the college’s Rock Art Research Center, which features advanced research in cultural heritage and preservation. The visit underscored mutual interest in promoting educational exchanges and strengthening bilateral partnerships in culture and the arts.
