Rawalpindi Women SME Expo Highlights Business Opportunities

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry successfully organized a one-day Women SME Business Expo, aimed at empowering female entrepreneurs and emerging brands by providing a platform to showcase their products and expand their market reach. The event highlighted the contributions of women involved in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Female business owners from a variety of sectors set up stalls to exhibit their products. These sectors included clothing and fashion, home décor, beauty salons, skincare, jewelry, gemstones, boutiques, and handicrafts. The expo not only served as an excellent platform for women entrepreneurs to display their innovations but also offered valuable opportunities for networking, collaboration, and business growth.

Among the notable attendees were Ms. Abida Malik, President of Behbood, Member of the National Assembly Ms. Huma Akhtar Chughtai, and Dr. Emmanuel R. Fernandez, Ambassador of the Philippines to Pakistan. Their participation underscored the importance of supporting women in business and emphasized the need for greater empowerment of women entrepreneurs in the country.
