Pakistan Wins Arab Classic Title Undefeated, Muhammad Husain Named MVP

The national baseball team claimed the Arab Classic title in dominant fashion, defeating the UAE 12-1 in the final to remain undefeated throughout the tournament.

After a closely contested first two innings, Pierce Khan opened the scoring with an RBI single, setting the stage for a remarkable run.

Moosa Nonomiya followed with a home run, propelling Pakistan to a commanding 7-1 lead by the seventh inning. They sealed the victory with five more runs, finishing the game with an impressive 12-1 scoreline.

The unbeaten run of Pakistan in the competition was a testament to their dominance, with victories over Bangladesh, the UAE (twice), India, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka.

Their closest match was a 3-0 win over Sri Lanka in the semi-final, showing their consistent strength.

In recognition of his outstanding performance, Muhammad Husain was named the Tournament MVP following the final.

The Arab Classic, organized by Baseball United, marked a significant step in the promotion of baseball in the Middle East, with the tournament drawing attention to the region’s growing interest in the sport.
