According to a press release issued by the board’s public relations office on October 12, 2026, the steps are being taken in line with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s educational vision and the special interest of Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat.

The board said that special attention is being given to providing equal opportunities to every candidate and preventing cheating in the examination system. Under the active leadership, timely decisions and effective supervision of BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Professor Dr Iqbal Mahmood, arrangements are being made to maintain discipline at examination centres.
