Pakistan set for India showdown on first day of Hong Kong Sixes

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will take on traditional rivals India on the opening day of the Hong Kong Sixes 2026, with the three-day event set to get under way on October 30.

The 22nd edition of the tournament will feature 12 teams, split into four groups. All matches will be staged at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Kowloon from October 30 to November 1.

Pakistan have been drawn in Group C with India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The defending champions will open their campaign against the UAE before meeting India later on the same day.

Group A includes Australia, England and hosts Hong Kong, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Scotland have been placed in Group B. South Africa, Afghanistan and Oman make up Group D.

Pakistan enter the competition as defending champions after securing the title for the sixth time last year by defeating Kuwait in the final.

The tournament will conclude on November 1, with the final scheduled to be played the same day.
