A group of athletes recently completed an intensive taekwondo training camp in Korea, partnering with the country’s largest and only Poomsae City Team based in Pocheon. Supported by the Gyeonggi-do Taekwondo Association, the camp offered participants the opportunity to train alongside top-tier national team members and professional athletes.
The program focused on both recognized Poomsae and Freestyle Poomsae, with specialized technical training provided by a professional gymnastics coach. Athletes benefited from dedicated one-on-one sessions with members of the Pocheon City Team, further enhancing their skills and preparation.
In addition to working with Pocheon’s elite athletes, the training camp included joint sessions with students from Kyungdong University, fostering collaboration and skill-sharing among participants from different backgrounds.
Organizers concluded that the camp was highly efficient and significantly beneficial for all athletes involved, providing them with valuable international experience and advanced training that will contribute to their future performances.
