The Central Executive Committee of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, led by President Abdul Aleem Khan, held a meeting to discuss key internal matters and upcoming elections. The committee expressed satisfaction over the successful intra-party elections and the subsequent endorsement by the Election Commission. Members also consulted on the imminent appointments of central and provincial party officials.
During the meeting, concerns were raised regarding the performance of the Punjab government. The committee resolved that the party would actively participate in upcoming by-elections in Lahore, as well as elections in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, with decisions made through collective consultation. Additionally, it was agreed to hold the next “Haq Convention” in Faisalabad.
