PRCS Planning Drives Stronger Community Support

Pakistan Red Crescent Society convened teams from the Norwegian Red Cross, National Headquarters and branches across KP and the Merged Areas to review progress for 2025 and set clear priorities for 2026. The session combined operational reflection with forward-looking decisions to sharpen PRCS planning and local response.

Branch representatives shared field insights that brought real stories and real challenges to the table, from household-level recovery efforts to gaps in service delivery in remote communities. Hearing how programs continue to touch lives across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Merged Areas reinforced the purpose behind every intervention and informed practical course corrections.

Discussions focused on strengthening programs so teams can reach more people who need support. Emphasis was placed on enhancing outreach, improving coordination between headquarters and field branches, and building local capacity so assistance becomes more timely and sustainable. These themes now form the foundation of PRCS planning for the year ahead.

Participants left the review with a set of actionable priorities that will guide resource allocation and field work throughout 2026. Continued partnership with the Norwegian Red Cross and sustained engagement across KP and the Merged Areas will be central as the Society translates those priorities into measurable community-level impact.
