Bannu: Commissioner Bannu Division, Parvaiz Sabatkhel, recently presided over a meeting with officials of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, where he reiterated the importance of providing basic human rights to the people in order to achieve development.
Sabatkhel emphasized that no human rights violations have been found in Bannu Division, but any such violations will be investigated and dealt with.
The meeting was attended by various officials including the Chairperson of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Hina Jilani, who stated that steps can be taken to improve the provision of basic human rights in any sector of society.
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan expressed their gratitude to Commissioner Sabatkhel and he assured them of his full support in the provision of human rights.
