IWCCI AGM Drives Women Business Engagement

The Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry recently convened its 16th AGM with notable enthusiasm and active participation. The IWCCI AGM was presided over by President Madam Samina Fazil and conducted by Vice President Ms. Rabia Farhan, with members engaging in substantive discussions about advancing women-led businesses in Islamabad.

The meeting welcomed Mr. Sardar Tahir Mehmood, newly elected President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as the chief guest. His presence underscored growing collaboration between the women’s chamber and the broader business community in the capital.

Distinguished attendees included Mr. Malik Suhail, coordinator at FPCCI, and special business delegate from the United States Mr. Farooq Mirza, president of 4th Pillar, who joined members to explore avenues for partnership and support. Their participation highlighted opportunities for cross-chamber cooperation and international business links.

Former IWCCI President Madam Rizwana Asif, Ms. Naima Ansari in her role as SVP of the Pakistan Azerbaijan Joint Chamber, Ms. Shamaila Naz SVP IWCCI, the executive body and other members attended the session, reinforcing the chamber’s commitment to networking, mentorship and practical support for women entrepreneurs. The IWCCI AGM provided a platform to strengthen ties, share experience and chart collaborative steps for future initiatives.
