Pakistan’s Resolve for Sovereignty and Support for Armed Forces

Pakistan’s commitment to national sovereignty and unwavering support for its armed forces was reaffirmed at a seminar held in Islamabad, where key government officials, military representatives, and dignitaries gathered to mark the historic event of Marka-e-Haq.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, addressed the seminar and emphasized that the people of Pakistan would never compromise on their country’s sovereignty. He pledged continued, unconditional support for the nation’s armed forces in safeguarding the country. Highlighting the significance of the event, he described Marka-e-Haq as a milestone in Pakistan’s history, serving as a reminder that the nation’s survival and honor are founded not only on its borders but on its enduring ideology.

The Minister reflected on recent events in which Pakistan’s armed forces, led by Field Marshal Asim Munir, successfully thwarted acts of aggression, calling it not only a military victory but also a vindication of the founding principles of Pakistan. He commended the resilience and unity displayed by the nation during such critical times.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain also praised the Workers Welfare Fund (WWF) for its ongoing efforts in providing quality education, healthcare, and development opportunities for the labor class. He acknowledged the WWF’s contribution to improving the lives of industrial workers and their families.

Other speakers at the seminar included Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Mohammad Awn Saqlain, who recognized the WWF’s hard work. Director General of NUML, Brigadier Shahzad Munir, paid tribute to the armed forces, emphasizing their readiness to defend every part of the country.

The event featured patriotic performances by students from WWF-sponsored educational institutions. The ceremony concluded with Chaudhry Salik Hussain distributing prizes and shields to the students in recognition of their achievements.

The seminar was attended by Federal Secretary for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Nadeem Aslam Chaudhary, along with numerous foreign and national dignitaries.
