Strengthening Support for Pakistani Students in Tajikistan

Ambassador Muhammad Saeed Sarwar held a constructive meeting with the Honorable Rector of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University to explore ways to further facilitate academic matters and the stay of Pakistani medical students studying in Tajikistan.

Both sides discussed measures to streamline academic coordination, improve administrative support for enrolment and course recognition, and enhance on-campus and off-campus student welfare so Pakistani students can concentrate on their medical studies without unnecessary disruption.

The discussions also examined options to strengthen embassy-university liaison mechanisms, address accommodation and local registration concerns, and ensure timely access to university services for students from Pakistan. University representatives welcomed closer cooperation to resolve practical issues affecting student life.

The meeting underlined a shared commitment to supporting Pakistani students and deepening educational ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan through ongoing collaboration and responsive support from both the embassy and Avicenna Tajik State Medical University.
