Prof Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, chairman of the Higher Education Commission, met with Prof Dr Hassan Sher, vice chancellor of the University of Swat, in Islamabad to discuss academic progress and institutional development. HEC Executive Director Prof Dr Zia ul Haq was also present during the meeting.

Prof Dr Hassan Sher formally invited the HEC chairman to visit the University of Swat, and Prof Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar accepted the invitation, signalling interest in supporting the university’s future plans. The accepted visit is expected to further strengthen ties and facilitate coordination on development priorities for the University of Swat.
