Islamabad: A landmark conference promoting peace, humanity, and social harmony was successfully held at the National Language Promotion Department in Islamabad, organized in collaboration with the United Humanitarians Organization. The event, titled “Pasban-e-Aman-o-Insaniyat Conference,” brought together religious scholars, intellectuals, researchers, media representatives, political and social leaders, business figures, and youth activists from diverse backgrounds. The gathering aimed to foster dialogue, unity, and the values of peace and tolerance in Pakistani society.

The conference was hosted by United Humanitarians Organization President Dr. Diya Chaudhry, under the patronage of the department’s Director General, Professor Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar. The session was presided over by Abdullah Hamid Gul, founder of Tehreek-e-Jawanan Pakistan and Kashmir, who also served as chief guest. In his keynote address, he highlighted that the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) remain the perfect model of compassion, justice, tolerance, and brotherhood. He stressed that in the face of rising extremism and injustice, Pakistan can only achieve lasting peace by adopting the Prophet’s example as a practical guide for both personal and collective conduct.

Distinguished speakers, including Sahibzada Zulfiqar Ali, Haider Alvi, Dr. Umar Riaz Abbasi, Iftikhar Kazmi, Professor Muhammad Ali Qadir, Dr. Shahbaz Abbasi, Allama Mehmood Tabsum, Abrar Raza Advocate, and others, emphasized that peace and humanity can only be advanced through intellectual dialogue, positive debate, and moral character-building among the youth. They urged all segments of society to work together against hatred, prejudice, and extremism, while promoting values of love, unity, and tolerance.

The participants also underlined the critical role of media in spreading messages of peace, coexistence, and respect. They noted that true national progress and sustainable peace will remain impossible unless mutual respect and tolerance are embedded in all social, political, and religious interactions. For Pakistan’s bright future and global standing, they emphasized the importance of equipping the younger generation with knowledge, research skills, leadership abilities, and moral strength so that they can serve as ambassadors of peace and harmony worldwide.

Speakers collectively praised the efforts of Dr. Diya Chaudhry and the United Humanitarians Organization for bringing together diverse schools of thought on one platform to spread the message of peace and humanity. They noted that such initiatives not only strengthen Pakistan internally but also improve its image globally.

In her concluding remarks, Dr. Diya Chaudhry thanked the participants for their support and reiterated that the organization would continue its mission to guide the youth, foster harmony, and build an inclusive society. She said the overwhelming participation in the conference demonstrated that Pakistani society seeks peace, love, and positive change, and vowed to keep working toward that vision. The event concluded in an atmosphere of celebration, symbolizing unity and collective commitment to a peaceful future.
