ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination has extended congratulations to Prof Dr Ayesha Humayun, Chairperson and Dean of Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute (SZPGMI), on her inclusion in the 2026 Stanford University/Elsevier Top 2% Global Scientists List.
According to the ministry, the latest recognition marks a remarkable five-year consecutive presence for Prof Dr Humayun on the global list from 2022 to 2026.
She has been recognised among the world’s leading researchers in Clinical Medicine and General and Internal Medicine.
The ministry said Prof Dr Humayun’s continued leadership and academic contributions have helped advance medical research, health professions education and clinical excellence across Pakistan.
Her achievement has been described as a matter of national pride in health sciences and a recognition of Pakistan’s contribution to global medical scholarship.
