RWU Welcomes Fall 2025 Students with Orientation Drive
The Directorate of Student Affairs at Rawalpindi Women University organized an orientation session for the Fall 2025 batch to warmly welcome new students and introduce them to university life. The RWU Orientation aimed to familiarize entrants with the academic environment, campus facilities and the range of student support services available to ensure a confident start.
Dr. Huma Rauf, Additional Registrar and Director Student Affairs, along with Prof. Dr. Saima Mustafa from the Faculty of Sciences and Prof. Dr. Sobia Masood from the Faculty of Social Sciences delivered welcome notes, offering best wishes to new students and reaffirming the university’s commitment to continuous guidance and mentorship throughout their academic journey.
Informative presentations outlined the roles and services of several administrative departments including the Registrar Office, Examination Office, Directorate of Student Affairs, Quality Enhancement Cell, the library, hostel management and the Psychological Wellbeing Center. These briefings were designed to help students access academic and pastoral support promptly and understand key points of contact across campus.
Students were also briefed on RWU’s Anti-Drug and Tobacco Policy and Anti-Harassment Policy, and were informed of the university’s discipline rules and regulations to promote a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment. Organizers emphasized the importance of seeking help from the Psychological Wellbeing Center and student affairs staff whenever needed.
The session concluded with an oath administered by Ms. Khadija Saeed, Additional Director Student Affairs, in which students pledged to abide by university rules and uphold RWU’s values. The event reinforced the university’s focus on student welfare as the Fall 2025 cohort begins their studies at Rawalpindi Women University.
