Empowering Balochistan Women Lawyers Through Training

The Federal Judicial Academy in Islamabad concluded Batch XXII of its Continuing Legal Education programme, bringing together female members from the Quetta and Makran Bar Associations for focused professional development and capacity building.

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rozi Khan Barrech, Chief Justice of the High Court of Balochistan, attended the concluding ceremony as chief guest and delivered the final address, commending participants for their dedication to continuous learning and professional growth within the province’s legal community.

Participants reflected on their training experiences and underlined a renewed commitment to applying new skills in court practice and community engagement. Many highlighted how targeted legal education helps strengthen case management, client advocacy, and ethical standards in local practice.

The Academy’s Batch XXII initiative emphasizes gender inclusion and leadership development, responding to the particular needs of women lawyers in Quetta and the Makran region. By concentrating on practical training and mentorship, the programme aims to expand access to justice across Balochistan.
