Motorway Police recover family’s lost valuables worth Rs1.9m on M-14

ISLAMABAD: The Motorway Police recovered a misplaced purse containing jewellery and a mobile phone worth a total of Rs1.9 million and returned it to its owner, setting another example of honesty and duty.

According to the report, a family travelling from Islamabad to Quetta informed the Motorway Police that their purse had gone missing near Daud Khel on the M-14 motorway.

The family said the purse had been mistakenly thrown outside by children. It contained jewellery valued at Rs1.7 million and a mobile phone worth Rs200,000.

After receiving the information, the Motorway Police immediately alerted all relevant patrolling mobiles. Following an effective search, the missing purse was safely recovered and handed over to the affected family.

The family expressed gratitude to the Motorway Police for their prompt assistance, honesty and professional service.
