Coordinating National Games 2025 Closing in Karachi

Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi, Secretary of the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, attended a high-level meeting at the National Stadium in Karachi chaired by Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi. The gathering focused on finalising logistic arrangements for the closing ceremony of National Games 2025 and ensuring coordinated delivery across departments.

Senior officials took part in the discussions, including the Secretary College Education, the Secretary Sports and the Secretary Culture for Sindh, alongside law enforcement leaders such as the Additional IG Karachi and the DIG Traffic Karachi. Former Deputy Commissioner East Abrar Jaffar, the General Manager of the National Stadium Karachi and Mr. Ahmed Ali Rajput, General Secretary of the Sindh Olympic Association and Organizing Secretary for National Games 2025, also contributed to the planning conversations.

Attendees reviewed operational priorities that will shape the closing ceremony, placing emphasis on traffic management, security coordination, venue readiness and spectator arrangements. The presence of education, sports and culture representatives highlights a cross-departmental approach to staging an event that reflects organisational excellence and local pride.

Officials agreed on continued collaboration and follow-up actions to ensure the closing ceremony meets expectations for smooth execution and sportsmanship, with the aim of delivering a well-organised finale to National Games 2025 in Karachi.
