Pakistan Advances SAARC CCI Engagement

The leadership handover at the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry saw Nepal’s Bandi Raj Dhakal take charge as the new president, receiving the baton from Bangladesh’s Jasim Uddin in a ceremony attended by regional business figures.

President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Atif Akram Sheikh, assumed the position of Senior Vice President of SAARC CCI, marking a proud moment for Pakistan. Atif Akram Sheikh pledged to energize the SAARC CCI platform and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening regional trade links and business cooperation across the South Asian and wider Asian region.

Paying tribute to the outgoing president, Atif Akram Sheikh commended Jasim Uddin for his notable services to the organization and extended best wishes to the newly elected president Bandi Raj Dhakal. He described the leadership change as a historic occasion for Pakistan and said that, as Senior Vice President, he will take all possible measures to support SAARC CCI’s success and advance its role as a key platform for promoting business and regional connectivity.
