Hajj Flights Resume with Direct Jeddah Service

Islamabad, May 4, 2026 — Hajj flights continued as Pakistan stepped up departures to Saudi Arabia, with 32,454 government-designated pilgrims transported on 126 flights and an additional 4,489 private pilgrims arriving.

Direct Hajj flights to Jeddah began on May 4, expanding air links for pilgrims. On the same day, 17 flights from various Pakistani cities were scheduled to carry 4,377 more pilgrims, reflecting the sustained pace of Hajj flights operations coordinated by national teams.

The Pakistan Hajj Mission’s main control office remains active in providing coordinated services. The mission’s lost and recovery unit located and escorted 6 pilgrims back to their groups and reunited 37 wheelchairs and 37 suitcases with their owners, while on-ground Haram guides assisted more than 13,000 pilgrims to find correct routes within the holy precincts.

Medical support under the Hajj Medical Mission has been extensive, offering preventive and urgent care. Teams performed 132 dental procedures, 28 X-rays, 18 laboratory tests, 8 ultrasounds, 5 ECGs and provided around 5,000 OPD services to pilgrims, reinforcing health readiness during this phase of Hajj flights.
