Marka e Haq Commemorated at CMT PIMS

Professor Ayesha Isani Majeed, Principal of the College of Medical Technology and Head of Radiology at PIMS, organised the one-year commemoration of Marka e Haq at the CMT auditorium, drawing an audience of more than 600 children.

The session was moderated by Vice Principal Pairzo Achakzai while Executive Director Professor Rana Imran Sikander attended as the chief guest, lending institutional support to the event.

The programme opened with the recitation of the Holy Quran and was followed by a moving documentary produced by ISPR that outlined the events of the previous year and the nation’s response.

In her address, Principal Ayesha Isani paid tribute to the heroic efforts of the Pakistan Army, the Air Force and the Navy, and acknowledged the role of the government. She made special mention of Field Marshal Asim Munir, noting his leadership as instrumental during the ensuing war and the challenges the country faced.

Highlighting the importance of a strong defence, she said Pakistan’s security and unity set it apart, contrasting the nation’s firm stance with the struggles of others seeking recognition. She also honoured the sacrifices made by soldiers and martyrs who protect citizens across the country.

Concluding her remarks, the principal invoked the words of Quaid-e-Azam, “there is no power on earth which can undo Pakistan,” and reaffirmed the community’s commitment to remember and support those who defend the nation. Pakistan Zindabad
