Motorway Police Seize Non-Custom Paid Medicines on Hakla-DI Khan Route

Motorway Police foiled an attempt to smuggle non-custom paid medicines on the Hakla-DI Khan Motorway, recovering a large quantity of medicines worth over Rs1 million.

According to a spokesperson for the Motorway Police, officers on routine patrol stopped a suspicious vehicle and conducted a search. During the checking, a heavy quantity of non-custom paid medicines was recovered from the vehicle.

One suspect present in the vehicle was taken into custody. The spokesperson said the suspect was allegedly attempting to smuggle the medicines from Zhob towards Peshawar.

The recovered medicines and the vehicle were handed over to Customs authorities for further legal action.
