Motorway Police Marks Youm-e-Istehsal with Kashmir Solidarity Events
ISLAMABAD, August 5, 2026: The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) on Wednesday observed Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir by expressing solidarity with the Kashmiri people, according to a Motorway Police spokesperson.
Special ceremonies, walks and prayer gatherings were organised by the Motorway Police across the country to mark the day and highlight its significance.
Motorway Police officers also took part in a rally taken out from Radio Pakistan to D-Chowk to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
The spokesperson said the officers paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people and reiterated full support for their right to self-determination.
Special banners were displayed at toll plazas across the country to show solidarity with Kashmiris and to create awareness about the importance of Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir.
The Motorway Police’s FM radio stations aired special programmes on the occasion, highlighting the struggle and sacrifices of the Kashmiri people.
At the conclusion of the events, special prayers were offered for the security, progress and prosperity of Pakistan, for law enforcement agencies, and for the success and steadfastness of the Kashmiri people.
