The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has informed candidates, parents, educational institutions and other stakeholders that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026 will now be held on September 20, 2026.
The test had earlier been scheduled for August 16, 2026. According to PM&DC, the revised date has been announced on the directions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The council said the decision was taken to ensure the smooth, secure and transparent conduct of the examination, while also facilitating all candidates.
PM&DC stated that all other terms, conditions and examination arrangements will remain unchanged unless any further notification is issued.
Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official PM&DC website and official communication channels for further updates and instructions.
The council appreciated the understanding and cooperation of all stakeholders and expressed regret over any inconvenience caused by the change in schedule.
