Cold, Dry Weather to Persist in Pakistan Until Dec 14: Met Office

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast a spell of cold and dry weather across most parts of the country until December 14.

According to the Met Office, southern Punjab and upper Sindh will experience chilly conditions during morning and nighttime hours.

Islamabad and most districts of Punjab are expected to remain cold and dry, with light rain and snowfall anticipated in Murree, Galliyat, and nearby areas.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, dry weather will dominate most districts, while hilly regions may experience severe cold and frosty conditions.

Rain and snowfall are expected in districts including Mansehra, Battagram, Kohistan, and Abbottabad.

Southern Punjab districts like Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sahiwal, and Bahawalpur are likely to face foggy conditions during the early and late hours.

Sindh will generally experience cold and dry weather, with light fog forecast in Sukkur, Kashmore, and Jacobabad.

Meanwhile, the mountainous regions of Balochistan will endure intense cold, while parts of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to witness partly cloudy conditions with occasional rain and snowfall.

Citizens are advised to take necessary precautions as temperatures drop across the country.
